Frequently asked questions

What does coolant recycling do?

It removes metal fines, tramp oil, free water and bacteria from cutting and grinding fluid so the coolant stays clean and in service longer — cutting coolant purchases, disposal cost and tool wear.

How much fluid can the centrifuge process?

The automatic self-cleaning centrifugal separator is rated at 2,000 L/h (typically 800–1,000 L/h on cutting and grinding fluid, depending on solids), running at 7,300 rpm with full automatic sludge discharge.

Why does coolant go rancid, and how does this help?

Tramp oil breeds anaerobic bacteria that make coolant smell and discolour. Removing oil, fines and water keeps bacteria down and the fluid stable — recycling plus concentration control extends life and cuts cost, with payback typically under a year.
